HEY GUYS, Debs here wiiiith a second character. This is Meleon Tratus, and he's a redblooded troll that's... themed around disguises and chameleons and all that cool stuff. :|b He's coming from a session that would've been won if it hadn't been for a moirail getting killed and a highblood going crazy and killing everyone (including his own moirail).

New player and character here~. I'm Matchre, and I'm bringing in an original race character named Tuto, Tuto Ryall. His name is basically only the tip of the iceberg of horrible puns I'm going to bring to the table.

I peeked at this comm a few times before finally manning up and joining~. ..I, my whole idea of using the Yuxian race here was because of a really great dear_mun thread where an Aradia though they were the product of a successful human session - I was so enchanted by the concept that I kept it in my mind until wait a tick, that'd work great at paradoxspace.

A change to the death system!

What happens if my character dies in game?
Your character wakes up on Derse or Prospit! If they don't have a dreamself, then the glitch brings them back in from their dead bubble... But the way back involves a lot of horrorterror interaction! Your character might get a little traumatized on the way back, it's up to player preference how badly.

We also have a new official announcement plurk! It will mirror mod announcements, as well as announcing things like memes posted to

kidsandfun.

The mod journal's Friends page can still be accessed for easy viewing of all communities and character journals.

SO hi folks. I have a killer imac virus that cannot be stopped, removed, defeated or... Anything. It has won. I am broken. Unfooortunately my imac is super out of date and upgrading isn't an option. '_' It's going to take me a few weeks (and a birthday) to save up the cash to buy a new one,.

I will be in and out a lot as I wrestle with my computer just to be able to load pages, but I'll be doing my best to continue playing and I'll remain available OOCly as much as possible!

Got a new laptop thanks to some good luck, a few discounts and a forwarded bit of birthday money to go with my savings. I AM RETURNED.

Hello, everyone! We have a poll we'd like all existing, current players in this game to answer: Whether to allow canon characters. That is to say, non-AU'd, normal versions of the canon kids, trolls and other characters.

- The 'first rungs of the echeladder' will still be in effect. Even canonical god-tier characters will have their powers bought down to the start.
- Multiple versions of the same canon character may exist.
- This will not allow SBURB-versions of other canons. Lion King characters will not be appable, for example.
- The application currently available will remain unchanged.

Only players currently in the game may vote. One vote per player. But if non-players interested in this game have thoughts on the matter, they can share them in the comments! Voting will finish in five days, on the 18th of October, after which regardless of the result an event will happen. If you haven't voted by the 17th of October, you'll get an email asking you to vote before it closes. The majority at the time of closing will decide the result.

If you have any concerns or questions you'd like answered before you vote, please respond to this post!

So guys, I wanted to give that whole player plot thing a try- except it's not so much a 'plot' as much as 'shit, let's build ridiculous CR'.

Now, I don't know how many of you have read Niccis' app- but a thing she likes to do to keep herself from getting too bored is playing therapist/advice giver to people- and while her advice usually sounds pretty good, there are usually little flaws designed to make situations worse- and to her, more entertaining. Schadenfreude, she loves it.

So what I would like to ask of you, Paradoxstuck, is for volunteers. I'm planning a post here sometime soon with her attempting to do some minor quests, and if anyone would like to volunteer their character to run across her and have a chat that may or may not turn into an advice-giving session, and subsequently have it bite them in the ass through what might seem to be their own fault... well. That is certainly something we can plan for. Of course, said advice will have to be discussed with all muns involved, which may make things a little slow- but it should be interesting for all involved. Also by all means feel free to use this post to plan if you have something in mind- and please note, that romantic advice may be quite unintentionally terrible no matter how much she may actually want to help, as Nic+quadrants= ???

Right, so- any takers? 8D

Thanks to Durrin, there is now an open subscription/invite bulletin board for characters’ use called OPERATION GET UNPARADOXSTUCK. The font reference page has been changed to reflect this.

You are still free to create your own bulletin boards for IC groups and plotting.

As our app formatting has gone through several changes, we have produced a new sample (player) app to better show what we’re looking for, as well as shed some light on the final player of the original six in Paradoxstuck’s session, Galeru, usually known as “the dead Space player”. We recommend that new applicants take a look, but, again, we will still accept any apps that were written using older formats.

In other words, hi! I'm Inkwell and I'll be bringing you this ball of passive-aggression and broken dreams, Kyrill Herdot! Kyrill is a salmonblood troll who goes by ancientCatalyst on Trollian. As this might imply, he has a particular interest in HISTORY (by which I mean that his ancestor won't leave him the hell alone about his Fated Duty as the last of the salmonblood Chronicripplers). He's a magic user, and weilds various and sundry STAFFS in addition to his BITING CYNICISM. His title was PRINCE OF FATE, something he is not entirely pleased about.

He's not really pleased about most things, to be honest.

Hello! I'm Krystal, and I'm bringing in Tjofur Logios, Bard of Mind from a session affectionately referred to as Mindbent. HI LYN HE DOESN'T KNOW YOU TOO WELL BUT LET'S CHANGE THAT, YEAH? 8D His trolltag is changeableThespian and he fpeaks in a fomewhat outmoded fafhion.

Here are the top five things you need to know about this guy:
- HE IS PROUD TO BE A REDBLOOD AND EMBRACES HIS IDENTITY. You bitches don't know nothing about how it is on the bottom rung. It makes you tough, man. You gotta survive. Don't fuck with him, he will shank you with the twenty or so shivs he's got on him. Just try it, fucker.
- He's not half as edgy and full of streetgrit as he pretends, nor is he as violent or unpredictable. He does dislike the blue/purples, but he's also not as racist as he used to be.
- Actually, on the inside he is a giant derp with a romantic streak a mile wide. There is a soft squishy center underneath the prickly, mistrustful exterior. Win his trust and you've got a friend for life.
- Part of this hidden squishy center is a deep love for ancient slam poets, especially Troll Shakespeare. But he hides it because it's not ~cool~ enough, and he's afraid of being made fun of for it. So if you find out, feel free to do it. Making fun of him is practically an Olympic sport.
- Finally, he's a sneaky little illusionist. It's a psychic power, enhanced by SGRUB, but it's relatively weak. Details are in the powers section of his app/permissions post on his journal, but they don't work as well on humans/non-trolls and aren't infallible.

~~also I hear there's a cull-happy seadweller who shares his sign. this can only end horribly and if you want to plot anything, drop me a line.~~

Actually, on that note, if anyone wants to plot/set up logs/make fun of him, poke me on AIM at crystalclearcase or on my plurk. Also I use Plurk for plotting a lot, so if that's convenient for you, go ahead and add me!
